Erase the Stigma

For centuries, civilization has viewed mental illness in a negative light. People deemed “crazy” have been ostracized, ridiculed, tortured, and killed. Today, those suffering mental health issues are shunned by society due to ignorance. We want to correct these wrongs.  We, as a society, need to change how we view mental illness and come to the realization that a mental illness does not encapsulate the person.

Meet a need

Most of us fear the unknown.  Mental issues hide in the shadows, as it is visibly impossible to tell if someone has a mental health issue.  Nevertheless , these issues affect everyone in the United States.


Learn the facts about mental illness;

  • Report and portray mental illnesses with appropriate sensitivity
  • Recognize that stigmatizing language and attitudes prevent effective treatment of mental Illnesses
